Privacy policy.

Effective June 10, 2026. The short version: Phrasora listens only while you hold the trigger, never stores your audio, and lets you delete everything in one step.

What we store.

  • Your account. The email address you sign in with.
  • Your dictionary.Terms Phrasora has learned or you’ve added, so they sync across your devices.
  • Your settings. Preferences like your formatting mode.
  • Dictation history, if you turn sync on. History lives on your device; cloud sync of history is optional.
  • Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, the email you gave us and which platform you asked about.

How dictation is processed.

When you dictate, audio is captured only while the trigger is held, sent over an encrypted connection for transcription and cleanup, and the resulting text is returned to your device. Phrasora does not store your audio in our database or anywhere else; our inference provider processes it to produce your transcript under its terms. Phrasora does not build a voice profile.

What we never collect.

  • No screen contents, screenshots, or accessibility-tree scraping.
  • No keystroke logging.
  • No reading of documents or apps you didn’t dictate into.
  • No selling of personal data, no advertising, no tracking pixels on this site.

Service providers.

We use a small number of providers to run Phrasora:

  • Supabase — accounts, dictionary, and settings, hosted in Canada.
  • Groq — speech-to-text and text cleanup inference.
  • Vercel — hosting for this website.
  • Resend — delivery of sign-in code emails.

Retention and deletion.

Your data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account from the account page immediately and permanently removes your account, dictionary, settings, and any synced history from our systems. Data already on your own devices stays on your devices.

Changes.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll email account holders before the change takes effect.
