Is there a free tier?
Yes. Phrasora is free for 2,000 words of dictation a week, every week, with the full product, cleanup, learning, sync, and all three platforms. The only thing Pro adds is removing that weekly limit.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro free, with no card. It's a complimentary Pro window that simply ends, there's no charge and nothing to cancel. When it ends, you stay on the free plan until you choose to subscribe.
What happens when I hit the limit?
On the free plan, once you reach 2,000 words in a week, dictation pauses until the limit resets the following Monday (UTC). Nothing is lost, and you can upgrade to Pro at any time to keep going right away.
Which platforms does it run on?
Phrasora is native on Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android, built with Swift and Kotlin sharing one tested core, plus the web. Your dictionary, history, and settings sync across every device you sign in on. See the downloads page for current per-platform availability.
Is my voice stored?
Phrasora does not request provider storage or training for transcription audio and never builds a voice profile. Provider handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Separately, so you can replay your work, your most recent recordings (up to the last fifty) are saved to a private, per-account folder; older ones are deleted automatically, and you can delete any of them yourself.
How do referrals work?
Share your invite link from the account page. Anyone who joins through it gets a 30-day Pro trial, and once you subscribe to Pro you earn a free month of Pro for every friend you refer.
